Inner Mongolia investors fancy Houston properties

Nancy Furst, chairwoman of the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) welcomed a delegation of affluent Chinese people from Inner Mongolia who are interested in buying real estate in Houston. The delegation includes board member and shareholders of Chifeng Rural Commercial Bank looking to diversify their asssets and seek good investment opportunities. They have particular interest in a 27-acre land in Missouri City close to Houston with a valuation of $13 million. This is going to be a test case and part of the trend of growing popularity of farm properties in Texas among Chinese investors. Minor Taylor, an agent specializing in land, farm and ranch, did over $100 million transactions with Chinese buyers together with her colleagues over the last two years thanks to the good soil and rainfull in that area.
