United States is still the land of opportunity for Hong Kong and mainland Chinese property investors


Despite of the various actions by the Trump Administration, many Hong Kong and Chinese buyers are still eyeing the US real estate with a long-term perspective, according to East-West Property Advisors. Some uncertainties are caused, the waiting period is extended for Chinese to get a visa, and there're some difficulties in the process, but Chinese investors' appetite for US property are not impacted. The political tensions under the Trump Administration are not enough to outweigh some other more important factors such as US economy. The driving force behind Chinese buying US real estate is not one single factor. It involves the expectation to get access to a better education, life, an international experience, a safe haven, and the reputation of the strongest country in the world.
