Wealthy Chinese buying more Texas land

Apart from commercial and residential properties in US gateway cities that are usually favored by Chinese investors, now land in Texas are drawing a growing interest from these Chinese buyers as well. Since 2013, Texas land that are acquired by Chinese investors have increased dramatically. Houston is the city that stands out in this trend, which sees the more and more significant impact by Chinese investors in the local real estate market. And Christi Borden who is a member of board of directors of Houston Association of Realtors believes this is not a temporary phenominum but a trend that will go on.
