Has Asian country's slowing economy diminished the interest of investing in the US real estate industry? The answer is NO. Landsea, a leading Chinese developer founded in 2001, will inject 1 billion USD into the US property market, including building a 550-home community in Orange County in Southern California. With the first home to be expected to sell in the second half of 2016 and prices ranging from 400,000 USD to 1 millionn USD, this is Landsea's largest project to date in the US. Compared to other Chinese developers expanding business in the US real estate market, homes developed by Landsea are mainly marketed to local American buyers rather than Chinese buyers overseas, and it focuses more on single-family-home while other Chinese developers such as Greenland mainly develops large mixed-use projects.
