Two Chinese families are fighting each other court about the purchase of real estate in Canada.  The families had been partnering together in order to acquire overseas real estate. They have been helping each other in order to transfer money and purchase the houses.  However, they had a fallout and they are currently in court battling the ownership of the houses in Canada.

Often, Chinese will work together in order to buy overseas real estate, including buying houses in America.  They typically do this without any written contract or agreement.  In most cases, no problems ever happen but this is an example where both families could not solve their arguments amicable and decided to go to court.
