83% surge in real estate demand by Chinese buyers

Chinese buyers once again are the largest group of foreign buyers of US residential real estate (both in terms of US dollar value and number of purchases). Chinese purchased a total of US$13.7 billion worth of US houses in the period April 2024 - March 2025 based on the National Association of Realtors.  This demonstrates that Chinese buyers are not concerned about the US-China political discussions but rather looking to diversity away from China and put their assets overseas with the US being the prime market.

In total, foreigners bought $56 billion worth of U.S. homes with Chinese being the top buyers.
