Asia remains home to the world’s greatest number of billionaires

There are now 2,101 billionaires across the world, which is 40% more than five years ago. Asia has the largest number of billionaires, namely 754 billionaires and together they have $2.5 trillion in wealth. China and HK account for 52% of all the billionaires in Asia.

As such, a lot of real estate agents across the world continue to focus on Chinese as a potentially large group of buyers.  Furthermore, the percentage of women who are billionares in Asia is also growing.
