Chinese pouring billions into US real estate: study

Chinese people injected billions into the US real estate market and becomes the largest foreign investor. The total investment from China, including both residential and commercial property, surpassed $110 billion over the past five years. The enthusiasm from Chinese buyers is a good news for the US real estate market to recover from the crash of the 2008 financial crisis. Although we see stricter control of Beijing over capital outflow and slowdown of Chinese investment recently, experts expect the total investment from Chinese buyers could grow to $218 billion from 2016 to 2020. The high volume of Chinese investment as well as its wide breadth in different types of US properties make Chinese buyers noteworthy and unique.
