Over $85 billion was spent by foreign investors in US commercial real estate in the past year. And $19.1 billion has already been spent in US commercial real estate this year. In 2016, Chinese buyers spent most with $7.68 billion, and Canadian takes the second place in volume with $1.22 billion. Disproportionately, 22% was spent in New York City.
