International real estate buyers are returning to New York City

Sales to international clients including Chinese buyers are picking up again. Chinese buyers are especially coming back to New York City and are starting to purchase new developments. For example, 35 Hudson Yards have seen an uptick in international buyers.

Real estate brokers say that international buyers are once again the driving force of many residential transactions in New York City.

As a result, many brokerage have started beefing up again their teams with team members with international background, language skills and strong client relationships.
